MY HISTORY
I was born and brought up in Tongaat, South Africa. I attended Hilbilly Pre-School in Maidstone. I then entered Grade R, at Crawford North Coast where I eventually completed my schooling.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Microbiology and my BScHons degree in Medical Microbiology. This was followed by me attaining a MMedSci (cum laude) degree with a research interest in the dysregulation of signaling analytes in HIV-associated pre-eclampsia at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).
Up until that fateful or rather should I say, beautiful heavenly Saturday morning, when I encountered the angels, I was a PhD student at Optics & Imaging Centre, School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Science (LMMS), Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, awaiting to be draped in my academic garb in the winter of June of 2021.
My life has and still is filled with extraordinary things and more especially, truly extra ordinary people, like You.
I have learnt that every mortal will taste Death, but only some, like me, will taste Life. I have passed on happily and have looked eagerly forward to taking up my new better form and my new purpose and just like the sun, only when you set in the West, can you rise in the East.
