Bridging The Education Gap
Education access across all phases has expanded significantly, with ECD enrolment tripling, primary school attendance at 99%, and secondary school attendance reaching 90%(South Africa). However, poverty and inequality continue to hinder quality education, particularly in early learning and post-primary retention. Many students, especially in disadvantaged communities, drop out after Grade 9, and only 28.5% of young women pursue STEM careers, highlighting persistent gender disparities.
Our aim is to:
🔹 Expand & Improve Access to Strengthen Early Childhood Development (ECD)
🔹 Enhance Quality Basic Education through teacher development programmes focussing on I.T integration and extra support for learners from Grades 3-12.
🔹 Prioritize STEM Advancement by fostering STEM engagement through hands-on learning, localized clubs, competitions, technology integration, career guidance, and post-school transition support.
